I'm 35 years old just watched it properly on sky for the first time.
Pacino is great. Penn is fantastic..wonderful movie
Both should have been nominated for Oscars. Pacino had no chance because he just won the year before for Scent of a Woman, but he deserved a Best Actor nod for this. I honestly think this is one of Penn's best works, maybe only 2nd to Dead Man Walking.

shareA lot of people didn't like him. He was sleazy, creepy, and ulgy. Penn isn't like that. He's had better roles and performances. Some which haven't won just been nominated.
