seriously, tim burton is nowhere near the calibre to pull off a remake of citizen kane... he couldnt even remake charlie and the chocolate factory properly (seriously.. that was a dull film). BUT, that being said, This is an awesome film and it shows off jonny's versitility.

I watch it periodically,every couple of years. It's a wonderful parable of Love and the miracle in the shape of "Those who do good freely, with/for others synergize the good to beyond intention".

This movie is my favorite role for Johnny Depp. I'm a guy and I loved this movie, its amazing, well scripted and pretty much adorable.

Love this movie. Depp's best. The Keaton/Chaplin-like Sam is fabulous.

Yeah, this is a movie for girls. The producers I believe were women. Over all just a good movie though, except that Sam's character is kinda wierd. Wierd in that you don't really get where this guy is at. Okay he's creative and illiterate and into movies, but then he wears these immaculate stylish clothes (gay) and is rather clueless about the real world. In real life he would be gay. He is more like some woman's daydream of a lover than a real guy. And don't tell me I'm a homophobe because you would be missing the point as well as wrong.

I personally thought hs clothes were really hot, but maybe I'm just an idiot.
i dont think in real life he would be an gay though, but yes he is kind of like a woman's daydream but then why would your daydream be a wierd guy that looks gay

My husband actually owned this movie when we met. I had never heard of it, but he convinced me to watch it, and I just found it to be outstanding! Great movie for guys and gals.

I really love this movie.... It strangely makes me feel better wiht myself and the world around me, not to say a little nostalgic , specially when that song from the beginning of the movie plays...

I LOVE this movie!

IMO we need to throw out terms like "chick flick"... People hear terms like this and they automatically won't give a movie a chance - and it's all based on stupid gender stereotypes. True, some people only like certain types of films. So be it. Yet people need to learn to give movies like this a chance. They're awesome!
