S11E3 - Great Improvement

Since the abysmal start of the Season 11 with the first 2 episodes, I was thinking it won't really get any better. 3rd ep took it back by storm (in a good way). Felt like I was watching one of those old X-file episodes with a slight side of comedy.

This would have been a weak episode in the prime years. It had some of the old charm but wasn't particularly interesting. Seeing these characters, this old, after all these years, still dealing with some basic stuff like this is kind of depressing. I want these guys to grow up and move on. I liked that some of their dialog actually dwelt on exactly that. It's life or death stakes for the world and the X-Files isn't even a thing anymore, but it's sort of a thing again, and we're just working mundane cases just because... It's not working for me. Anyhow, I enjoyed it. Mulder fighting Mulder is fun. But what is this? The show limping off into the sunset or are they setting up to do another ten years without Scully?

I doubt DD would want to carry on with GA. Those other agents from last season are abysmal.

It was the best episode so far, but really boring. I also didn't care for the fanservice.

I agree, fan service.
