shareThere is only one main exit that characters usually have - getting killed off. I wonder if that's the route they will take or send Mulder and scully off together...not necessarily in death, like living in the middle of nowhere or something.

shareI'd welcome a show that wrapped up the mythology, wrapped up Scully, wrapped up the kid, got rid of all that crap, and started fresh with Mulder running a new X-Files squad, a whole team this time. I don't see Scully as a strength in this show any longer. Her story lines have dragged the show into quicksand.

shareWithout Mulder and Scully, the show will be as good as dead. They already tried replacing them with different actors and it didn't work. And without Gillian Anderson I don't think Duchovny will still want to do the show.
shareI agree, those other agents "Einstein"WTF? will NOT cut it. And you're prob right DD will want nothing to do with the franchise. Unless, he really needs the work. personally, I liked him in the recent series "Aquarius". It was good.
