I have to agree, it's up there with many other dumb shows, don't know if I would call it the dumbest but definitely extremely stupid. Lol but I'm an 80's kid so I just couldn't get into it.
shareWell what age did you watch it at? It's a KID'S show, so obviously if you watch it when you're older, you're not going to be impressed, but as a child, this show was the sh!t. It was also very ahead for it's time in the special effects department, and in the action department. Sure, in this day and age effects have greatly improved and action/violence has become more "acceptable" to show to kids since they can take more than they could back then, but for the time and age group, this was great stuff. Not only was it good entertainment, but the kids ended up receiving important life lessons without even realizing it.
shareI was 20 when it launched. I was still watching some kids shows / cartoons. I checked it out because I grew up loving a lot of Japanese stuff like Godzilla, UltraMan & Jet Jaguar. I thought I'd like it but it really was quite dumb to me. I just watched the trailer for the new Power Rangers movie and I think that looks so much cooler. I just couldn't get into this old series. I don't think it's as bad as the OP saying but it's never spoke to me at all.
