wtf is Paramount + ?

Is it even available yet?

Of all the revival or reboot shows or whatever...this had the best chance.

reply

It's what CBS All Access is now. If you already have that, you'll be good to go. They're basically combining the Paramount library with CBS and re-branding. Hasn't actually launched yet I don't think.

reply

Thank you. I do.

reply

They're still going forward with that? I can't stand all these streaming services. Can't possible afford to get all of them.

reply

Awesome.

Looking forward to seeing the Frasier character explored in this setting, where they can get away from the traditional sitcom model. Should prove pretty interesting and bring something fresh to the table. Hope they don't make it too mature.

Kelsey Grammer is desperate for a career boost after 15 years of flop TV shows.

reply

He must be or out of money.

I think this was his ultimate back-up. So we'll see out it goes.

I liked "Back to You" that was a great show and had it been on anything other than FOX it would have lasted.

"Hank" I think was off the air by 6 episodes...never saw it.

"Boss" I kind of enjoyed it, but stopped watching after 3 or 4 episodes.

Never saw that awful Martin Lawrence Kelsey Grammer TBS dreck.

reply

don't forget his epic movie roles like Money Plane.

he's been developing this for years so I don't think it's just a cash grab like some of these other reunion shows.

i think this was more his retirement plan than an emergency career bail out plan

reply

Will it be a single camera comedy or a multi-camera comedy?

If it's multi- I hope it's not like the Murphy Brown filled with a laugh track disguised as a studio audience type.

Where all the laughter and applause ends at the exact same time.

reply

But really this is stupid in the end....at most maybe 3 seasons??

Like "Full House" without the nostalgia.

Streaming is all the rage...yeah, yeah...but really?

The commercial advertisements for "Roseanne" in the first season alone!

More people watched the first episode of Rosanne then the last?

https://abcnews.go.com/GMA/Culture/roseanne-reboot-roars-18-million-viewers-debut/story?id=54074652

Does anybody doubt that "Frasier" returning to network television wouldn't notch the numbers of the last two seasons for CBS with "Big Bang Theory"??

I haven't watched a live day program in 20 years (thanks to DVR) but I think is easy 20 million +

reply

This HAS got to be a great show. It's writers have to be fluent speak.

reply

So they've got Kelsey Grammer but...

John Mahoney(Martin the dad) has passed away.

Moose(Eddie the dog) has passed away (but his son played the role in the end, maybe he's still alive? Nah, can't be, or too old.)

Jane Leeves(Daphne Moon the Brit) says she can't do this reboot because of a commitment to another show.

---

BUT

Peri Gilpin (Roz Doyle the radio producer) said some time again that she would do this ("Hell, yeah")....but will money matter now that it is reality?.

Which leaves the other MVP -- David Hyde Pierce (brother Niles) to be nailed down.

I suppose Bulldog could follow Frasier wherever he's going(Grammer says: "not Seattle.")

reply

..........

guess it was bound to happen sooner or later.
