Am I the only one?

Am I the only teenage boy who loves this show?

I'm 15 and I can't get enough of it

reply

My 19 year old brother would rush home from his lectures at uni to watch it when the BBC were showing it.

I am a 16 year old boy, and have been watching it on BBC (when they are showing it) for about the last 6 years. Great show!

Teenage boy, 20something gal (like myself), housewife or retired - you gotta love this show. DVD is one of my idols. He truly is da man!

Please note I also love Jessica 'The Fletch with solid hair' Fletcher and Lt. 'Playing the dumb cop is what I do, yet you murderers forget I made Lieutenat so am not that dumb' Columbo so I am either completly sad or cool.

I was 14 when the show premiered back in 1993. I watched almost (if not all) the episodes, some multiple times, and I still catch the reruns when I can.

I had, and still have, a crush on Barry Van Dyke (even though his oldest son, Carey, is one year and two days older than me). I watch the Murder 101 movies just to see Barry.

reply

Is it even on TV anymore? I haven't seen it in Michigan since PAX had it in 2005.

But yes, I watched it from the ages of 14-18. I'm 22 now, I'd still watch it if I could.

reply

im 20 now, i used to watch it back when i was 15-16. Im not 20 and still enjoy it.

reply

22 been watching it on BBC since 2002. does get tiring seeing episodes you've seen over & over, but occasionaly i see one i havent seen before.

reply

This is the best programme on TV along with Columbo.

reply

wednesday is the best day of the week, DM on 1 then Columbo film on five.

reply

I started watching when I was 14 (I am 21 now) completely by accident. We had this crappy little TV antenna that only picked up local news and PAX. At first I was only a casual viewer, but as the weeks went on I never missed an episode. All my friends made fun of me for watching an "old people show", but I still maintain that it was one of the best shows on TV.

reply

My grandparents love it as well. It's far fetched, but still highly entertaining.

reply

Haha, that's exactly why I started watching it! When I moved up to New Jersey when I was 9 or 10, we lived with my grandparents for a year. They only had 6 or 7 channels, so I watched PAX a lot. I'd watch Diagnosis Murder all the time! And even after we moved out, I'd still spend the night at their house fairly often and we'd bond over episodes of DM, Martial Law, and Walker:Texas Ranger. Hahaha, those were the good old days.

DM was a damn good show! Haven't seen it in ages. :(

Back when this was on I never got to see any of the shows. I was moving around a lot back then. Now that we get the Hallmark channel movie and mystery channel my dad a d I tend to watch it together plus I bought the complete set plus the bonus tv movies I watch it every day. Back when I was 14 was th he first time I saw berry van dyke thanks to Airwolf season 4. I'm still crushing on him today.
I wish he and his dad would do another show

Hallmark Channel.

reply

Yes Hallmark Channel. It has two channels one is the regular channel and the one that shows movies and Mysteries. if you have dishnetwork it's 187. I am watching it right now. it just now started and I've seen this one.

reply

When I was 13 I watched it with my Grandparents. Along with Matlock. I liked both. I haven't watched Diagnosis Murder in a while. Maybe I should rent it from Netflix.

Heh, thats funny, I bet we aren't the only ones in that boat. I totally used that 10pm line a few times too. The only part about that show I hated was scott baio, I thought Dr. Travis was much better.

Also thanks for that link, I haven't watched in years, now I have a chance to.
