who was better Jack or jesse?

As much as I like Jesse I think jack is better. I think he was funnier than jesse but Jesse was good too though.

Jesse. He had a wider range of emotions. He was believable in serious situations and under pressure. In the scenes in the emergency room where a life was a stake, he came across as a doctor intent on saving a life. In casual scenes, he could pull off comedy with ease as well. In the episode where a young woman dumped a baby in his arms telling him it was his son, his paternal emotions towards that baby were very evident, and when he learned the baby wasn't his, he portrayed a sadness and sense of loss that were believable. He's a good actor.

Yeah. Scott Baio sucked. I just did not buy him as the street wise punk kid who is now a ladys' man doctor.

Jesse by a fair way - but then I came to DM from S3 and never saw any of S1 or 2 until a few years ago. They were ok but not as good - seems to me that the show improved a lot in S3 and Jesse's character was a large part of that. He had better chemistry with the other main actors

I like Jesse so much better than Jack. Scott Baio is really not a very good actor. Jesse is so much more likeable. I have never really liked Scott Baio.

Jesse was in the show SO much longer than Jack, but somehow I just never adjusted to the change.

There was nothing wrong with Jesse, but I was always a Jack fan.

At the time I was a Jack fan, but seeing them now I can appreciate Jesse for the great well acted character he was.

he was over 30 years old when he was on the show, so he was plenty old enough to play a doctor....he just looked young.

As much as I like Jesse, I like Jack better. First two seasons are my favourite. Shame Delores and Norman left as well. After their departure something's missing.

Jesse without a shadow of doubt.

I can allow my mind to accept Community General not being shut down despite someone being murdered there on an almost daily basis. I can also allow my mind to accept multiple members of staff not being sacked despite continuously being off-site solving the non hospital based murders. But Scott Baio as a doctor? Forget about it 😂

I agree. Frankly, I can't stand watching the first 2 seasons and that nerdy hospital administrator with the glasses is super annoying. Jack just didn't work with me. But like I said I only ever watched the later seasons of Diagnosis Murder when it was on.
