I‘Ve never Watched the show, but I’ve always wanted to. The entire series has been playing on Comet, so I started recoding.
Should I watch “The Gathering” first? Or start with Season 1 Episode 1: Midnight on the Firing Line?
Start with the series. Any essential information in The Gathering is repeated as needed in the series, so there's nothing important to miss. And frankly, when I first saw The Gathering - which was after I had watched at least the first four seasons of the series - I remember thinking I was glad I hadn't started there, or I might have been put off from watching the series.
shareStart with the first ep of the show instead. Remember that there are some wonky episodes in that first season. But put the time in. It sets the stage for the A+ seasons 2 through 4.
shareSeason 2 remains my favourite season. Sure, S3 and S4 are more action-packed, and they're great, but I just love the build-up in S2 to the coming conflict. And maybe Boxleitner taking over from O'Hare had something to do with it, too.
shareAgreed. The actors are all finally comfortable in their skin and the script gives them gold to work with. S2 is the best.
