Just wondering if I'm the only one who could watch it every day and still love it as much. I bought that DVD set a year or so ago and watch and rewatch it every chance I get. I especially like to watch it at night while trying to wind down. I think it is just such a comforting show, nobody is ever really ugly or mean and underneath it all they really love each other, never mind that the acting is just perfect. It's my comfort TV anybody else?
shareI live in Kentucky, about an hour east of Lexington. As a result, I have access to two KY PBS stations, as well as WOSU out of Ohio. Seven or eight ATGB episodes air on the three stations each week. The Saturday airing are usually repeated on Sunday afternoon. Like another responder mentioned, I don't mind watching repeats. I also have the boxed set, so if it's not on the tube, I pop a DVD in the player and get my nightly fix.
There's just something calming and simply enjoyable about watching 'old friends' on the television. I liken it to watching reruns of M*A*S*H...with each rerun, you can find something you didn't notice before.

It is one of my favorite TV shows ever. I have the entire series on DVDs and I watch episodes on PBS every chance I get. I love the characters and I've seen each episode so many times that I can almost recite the dialog verbatim.

I have watched this show every day in the past, however, I watch it weekly now. Usually on Saturday night's PBS Brit-com lineup. Sometimes after a bad day, I'll pop in an episode or two to cheer me up.
shareI watch it again pretty much every weekend! It's my comfort tv show. I put it on and go about doing things around the apartment because I've seen it so many times! It's my favorite show.

Just started a marathon :) I am laid out with a bad knee so need something to entertain.
I find , when sick or down with the knee, that most shows from the UK are entertaining, comforting, etc...
I can just snuggle up and watch episode after episode and *sigh*
My family's been a fan of many Britcoms over the years so there are ample to chose from :)

I watch the repeats on television. In fact, I watched it a couple of hours ago. I'm going to buy the box set soon.
