Been watching this film for over 30 years and never knew that was Ally Sheedy as the clerk at the NYC airport.
I was stunned to find out Ally Sheedy had a very small role as the NYC airport clerk.
shareYou know you're watching a Hughes movie when you get these kinds of cameos. No doubt done as a favor for either John Hughes or Chris Columbus (or both). I'd guess it was to do with Columbus working with Sheedy just before this in Only The Lonely.
I'm guessing she stayed on good terms with Hughes as well unlike Ringwald and co.
