I hope you never run a hotel or anything similar, because you'll probably allow young children to check in unaccompanied and believe they aren't just because they say so, then confront them head on in an open place like the lobby or restaurant because you suspected they stole something, make a huge ruckus in the process, but take no responsibility when your method exacerbates the situation because you don't understand the importance of common sense or subtlety.

Kate's behavior would be typical for a wife of a well to do husband. Blame others for her own shortcomings. She also knows because she was quite attractive that most people in the position of the rank and file hotel employees would not stand up to her. Well she was right to be mad at them because they scared him away which put him in danger, but yes I agree that it was her fault for getting lost in the first place. After what happened in the first movie, she should have been more careful.
