and it was very superb. The 3rd act where Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson act off each other in the court scene made it worth it.

It's been a long time but I did see it twice. It's a fantastic movie. Yes, the court scene is amazing! The acting is unequaled!

Yeah. I doubt that any modern movie with any court scene would rival it.

There has never been a better courtroom drama.

Rob Reiner was on a roll with Spinal Tap, Stand By Me, Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, Misery, and finally this. Each film is probably the best example of its genre ever made.

Hollywood used to churn out classic after classic, you’d get several every year in the 80’s and 90’s, now you're lucky to get one per decade.

I watch this film annually on Veteran's day and the courtroom drama never fails to impress me.
