30 years later and…

…and still the greatest live-action Batman movie to date.

Is it perfect and does it have serious flaws? Michael Keaton is not flexible enough in this Batman costume and doesn’t talk enough is my biggest complaint.

But this movie is FAR MORE MEMORABLE than ANY of the Nolan films or The Batman or Ben Affleck’s forgettable version of Batman. Batman Returns has amazing music and visuals, Michelle Pfeiffer is AMAZING as Catwoman, Danny DeVito was EXCELLENT as The Penguin and Michael Keaton is cool and intimidating as The Dark Knight and his performance as Batman/Bruce Wayne is the CLOSEST we will EVER GET to a live-action portrayal that resembles Kevin Conroy’s Batman.

This live-action interpretation of Batman will never be topped.

I loved it as a kid. I still have a soft spot for the Burton Batman films.
