They’re both great but I prefer Aladdin overall. It’s always been my favorite Disney film.

But OP asked which is better (objective), not favorite (subjective). For example LotR is my favorite movie, but Children of Men is the best movie I have ever seen.

I do agree with you though; I would choose Aladdin as my favorite out of these two. As for which is better, that's much harder. That may be Lion King, but it's not clear.

Hmm… good point. Well in that case The Lion King may technically be better. I still enjoy Aladdin more though.

Aladdin is my 289th favourite film and The Lion King is my 294th favourite film, so I rank Aladdin slightly higher.

Most certainly Aladdin but a country mile. I've never understood why The Lion King gets so much attention.

I enjoyed both as a child but I get why Lion King was the Di$ney's biggest hit of that era. Personally, I liked Aladdin a bit more but The Little Mermaid was always my favorite.
