I have been rewatching these on DVD and am glad the show is as good as I remember it way back in the 90s. I was not aware they did a finale and cannot find it--so somebody clue me in on how it ends--gotta know, and yes I know about SPOILERS, so please for others sake mark it well. Will wait Forever to hear.....

The ending was a bummer
Tracy passes away, Natalie and Nick?
it's left open for those two. but looks like they didn't make it.
and Janette! dang! she feels love, becomes human and then dies and didn't want to be 'brought' across again, she preferred death.
what a bummer all around.
great show, but I didn't see the final season till I rented netflix.
I hoped for a different ending myself.

Nick Bites his gurl friend and then refused to maek her a vamp. Heis old buddy tells him it's time to move on but nick is done. The old Vamp kills Nick as he requested in a different choice of words. You have to see it
"I'm lost in development hell and my map burned up!"
We don't know what really happens to Nick or Nat. We never see Lacroix stake Nick or if Nat dies from blood loss or becomes a vampire. They leave it to the imagination of the fans out there. In my opinion Lacroix would never kill Nick no matter what kind of loving speech Nick gives. So to me Nick and Nat are alive out there somewhere but not together. As you can tell I'm not a NickNatpacker, sorry. I do love Forever Knight. :)
shareIn the finale Natalie persuades Nick to bring her across but he takes too much blood or a least he thinks he has. LaCroix arrives just before this happens and watches from the shadows. He tells Nick it's time to go and he should bring Natalie across or let her die. If he lets her die there may even be enough time for a burial.
Nick stands up and retrieves the wooden spear and hands it to Lacroix. After a few minutes of LaCroix trying to talk Nick out of it, Nick kneels down by Natalie. LaCroix raises the spear up and says, "Damn you, Nicholas! Damn you to hell!" With that he pulls the spear up over his head in a gesture intended to plunge it into Nick and the screen fades to black.
So we are left to write our own ending or maybe a new beginning.
That's the quick version. My advise is watch the episode.
Maybe I'm an eternal optimist, but imo it's all left up to interpretation:
-Nick tried to turn Natalie & she fell as if dead, but maybe she was still alive & able to be transformed
-Nick asked Lacroix to kill him b/c she was dead, but it was never SHOWN that Lacroix speared him b/c the scene faded to black before then
-Jeanette became human & nearly died in a fire, but it was hinted that she drank blood from one of the firemen & survived
-Again, maybe it's just me wanting a happy ending, but I'm sticking to it

All I remember is that the third season sucked a million. Season 1 and 2 were kinda alright.
shareI am certain you have heard by now; but just in case, from one loyal Knight fan to another, they die! Jeanette, Nick, Natalie, Schanke, Tracy. Only LaCroix lives out of Nicholas' "family".
