shareI liked every scene you all have named, plus one extra. Back when I saw this movie for the first time, I was still single, and for some reason, the scene with Susan curled up in Tom's lap in the rocking chair just reached out and hit me. I thought, "Boy, I sure would like to have someone to do that with." I do now, and have done just that - but back then, it was so damned poignant. Go figure.

My favorite part was when Jason Gould ( Bernard Woodruff-Lowenstein) plays
the violin at Grand Central Station in New York. Too bad Jason Gould has
not made more films. He certainly has a screen presence, and is handsome
and sensitive.
When Tom reveals what happened to him and his family that night. Nick Nolte is fantastic in this scene and Streisand's direction is effectively powerful.
shareMy favorite part is the very end, when Tom is driving and narrating. His speech while driving over the bridge is moving and touching.
I'm quite a lovely person - apart from my terrible taste in pie.
