On a scale of 0-10 how did you like this movie?

I give it a 9/10, I really enjoyed watching this movie and I consider it to be one of the most weirdest movies I've ever seen and I liked the offbeat feel of the movie, I don't understand why people hated this movie so much.

I gave it an 8. Loved it since the first time I rented it back in '92.

This is one of my childhood favorites. I caught it several times on cable as a kid and absolutely loved everything about it. I'm surprised to see how hated this film was/is. Of course, The Guyver was another childhood favorite, and after watching it as an adult, I'm surprised I ever enjoyed it. Anyway, 8/10 for Nothing But Trouble. I need to hunt down a copy on DVD.

5/10, imo it's not great by any means, but not bad either, just the majority of it I didn't find funny and I hate Chevy Chase as he seems to play the same character in every movie he's in. But the dinner scene, John Candy as the daughter, and of course frickin Digital Underground appears in the judges court and jam their way out of the death penalty, those scenes were classic.

It's classic as far as I'm concerned. Solid 8 out of 10, makes it one of my favorite comedies.

reply

7/10 (that's for entertainment, not quality)

It's a "so bad it's good" movie. It's poorly made, but as a horror comedy, the blend of mutant redneck and evil carnival aesthetics is uniquely demented and entertaining.

It also provided one of my go-to niche quotes... "smells like Sao Paulo."

8/10 awesome whacky comedy.

6/10
Good, but forgettable.

It's pathetic how some extremely average, harmless, boring Chase or Aykroyd movies are considered to be classics, and this is considered to be crap...
