What is Your favourite episode of Night on Earth?

What is Your favourite episode of Night on Earth?

I purchased the DVD a week ago and since then have seen the movie perhaps a dozen times? Yeah I know that's a little strange but I'm not exactly normal concerning movies and I am quite aware of that.
I have grown to nearly all episodes by know, enjoying even the LA-Episode which originally was a little weak at first sight. But I think I will never really enjoy the Helsinki-Episode, it's just to sombre and humorless compared to the others, even the Paris-Episode at least had some positive feeling.
My favourite Episode however is New York with Helmut and Yo-Yo (and that's not because I am German like Helmut), followed by Paris, then Rome and L.A. making Helsinki the least.
Which episode is your favourite?

For me it was Rome, the guy just makes you want to hit your self while laughing so hard. God; I just loved him confessing.

I liked the cold, icy, and somber tone of the Helsinki sequence. And the Finnish language is a most fascinating one to listen to. I loved the French sequence, but the blind woman wasn't that likable

It's certainly interesting to see how different people's lists are completely opposite.

I thought Rome was a good five-minute joke stretched out to 25 minutes. That didn't work for me.

I loved New York. Whether either the setting or the characters are realistic, they fit together in a quirky and delightful pattern.

The other three were all good in one way or another, and very different from one another.

1. LA (Winona)
2. NY (Funniest)
3. Helsinki (Least funny (in a good way), and kind of reminded me of Norway)
4. Rome (Some funny parts, some boring parts)
5. Paris (Didn't really like it, not sure why)

reply

Rome because it was hilarious followed by Helsinki, like that other guy said for the misery gut.

Last 3 Seen in Theaters:
MacGruber: 8/10
Robin Hood: 7.5/10
Iron Man 2: 8/10

Same order as in the movie.

L.A.
(Winona wasnt very believable as a taxi driver but still she is pleasure for eyes and like has been said, she had good interaction with the woman)

New York
(Funniest part, and i liked the argue moment)

Paris
(Here began the downhill but still quite interesting part with the woman)

Rome
(I lost my interest, i didnt like at all)

Helsinki
(Most boring and depressing part, ugly city)

I wish the movie had ended after 3. part.

ROME!
Yes despite some may classify it as 'lower-class humor' due to the content, I found it an hilarious segment which contrasted with the sombre tones of the preveious 3 segments and how the situation, the lines, the enactment of Benigni to be perfectly ridculous yet entertaining.
New york was quite humorous as well, but I found the end part where Helmut drove around Brooklyn quite depressing and bitter, like a harsh reflection of reality.

1. New York
2. Paris
3. Rome & Helsinki head-to-head
4. L.A.

Oh, hell, gotta go with the Helsinki one for purely sentimental reasons as the feeling of driving around a city in a car on cold, snowy winter nights rings some rather personal bells. I know the feeling, the coziness amidst the cold of empty streets, experienced some 100 kilometers southwards from the Finnish capital. It was cool riding around with Pellonpää & co, even if the "story" itself wasn´t very strong. The funniest episodes were undoubtedly NY and Rome though, with amazing performances by Müller-Stahl and Benigni, respectively. All in all an interesting, if uneven, little project from Jarmusch, though. 7,5/10.
