And I thought I'm the only one who liked the L.A.-N.Y. parts the most. Not to be misunderstood, Paris and Rome were also great. And Helsinki probably as well but the Helsinki part, nevertheless, didn't hook with me somehow like the four others... I can watch L.A. and New York over and over again, though (and Benigni's monologue).
I love the chemistry between Ryder and Rowlands ("Sure, Mom!") and above all between Armin Müller Stahl, Giancarlo Esposito and later on Rosie Perez ("It goes good!", "In English, we say, 'It's good to go!'", "DON'T TELL ME TO SHUT UP!!!").
Rome is maybe better before the bishop enters the taxi. It's great when Benigni just drives and speaks by himself and later makes his confession. "Tum-tata-tum-tata-tuuum!!!" and then the bishop dies (too much for him, poor guy). Benigni rules. Besides, after the bishop dies you can see that the bishop moves his eyes when Benigni is pulling him out of the taxi and places him on the bench.
Paris is also very good, especially when those two arrogant and kinda racist businessmen are his customers. They deserve to be thrown out.
