What happened to him that gave him a speech impediment? He does not have one in this movie.

shareSo I am guessing then - that because we are so used to standard English language, that some audiences confused Ice T's rapping with speech impediment that they forgot about the REAL character with REAL sppech impediment played by Bill Nunn, lol.
