Best gags.

The part where Frank hits that car, the car hits a cement truck, and the truck pours cement into the car's sunroof. I also like the scene when they talk about boxing, and every boxer's name is the name of a state. South Dakota, Tex Colorado...

i just watched this movie again (i love it) and one of the best gags is at the beggining where he pulls the chair out of barbra bush's chair for the younger woman. sooo funny haha

reply

Best gag...has to be Professor Meinhiem having an avalanche of object fall on his head as Frank tries to free himself from his restraints.
An ANVIL! I laughed 'til I cried.

reply

No I’m afraid you’re all wrong, though those are all fantastic gags this one wins it for me. It's the scene in the bar when Frank sits with Jane there’s an obvious Casablanca reference when Jane says – “Play our song, Sam.” Sam then bursts into his own rendition of ‘Ding Dong the witch is dead’ CLASSIC

reply

I'd have to agree with this absolute stranger. The Casablanca spoof is my favourite.

reply

the casablance is definitely the best, just reading it makes me laugh my ass off, but my 2nd favorite part is when the bad guy gets pushed out the window bounces off the tent top and lands on the gorund then a LION attacks him hahahahaaa

reply

I forget how many times we watched that scene over, but every time someone walked in, we played it over, & got a laugh every time! The lion scene was good too. I also liked the look on GHWB's face when Frank said something about wanting the democrats to find someone the people will vote for. I'm a republican, but still thought that was funny.

Kyle: It's bigger than Cartman's @$$!
Eric: No it isn't you guys

reply

Oh and of course the mariachi scene absolute genius!

"I'm single! I love being single! I haven't had this much sex since I was a Scout leader."

reply

I laughed my ass off when I saw an old guy tied up in a wheelchair get pelted in the head by several solid objects in this movie. Does this make me a bad person?

P.S.: When George Kennedy tried to go all badass on that guy after he saw what happened to the professor-and got his ass kicked-was pretty funny too.

reply

no no no

the sex shop with the starting question of "IS this a bust?" "Yes it's quite impressive." and the toy ed playw with I love that whole bit

reply

My favorite scenes are when:

1. The fake Albert Mainheimer is dizzy and accidently drives his wheelchair off the stage.
2. Thhe scene where Drebin is trying to remove the real Albert Mainheimer's birthmark off his butt.

Groovy out

reply

OJ Simpson assembling his gun at the very end had me in stitches.

reply

I loved where he's in the depressed bar, and there's the following pictures on the wall:
The Hindenberg Crashing
The Titanic Sinking
Cezar Chavez protesting California grapes

LMAO

reply

I liked the scene where Frank is trying to disconnect the bomb at the end and trips over the plug and accidentaly shuts it down.

reply

You got my support on that one.
Also, this is a really very depressed and blue bar, as indicated by some other of the Really Worst Catastrophes pix on the walls:
The Ford Edsel
Michael Dukakis

LMAO

That, and the singer intoning:

"It's a cookbook! It's a cookbook!"

"Shah Mat....bitch"

reply

he actually says : it's a GOOD BOOK.

reply

Um, no, he actually does say "cookbook". Lloyd Bochner is parodying his own performance in an episode of "The Twilight Zone" that was called "To Serve Man". It's on the trivia page.

reply

i just noticed in the end credits theres some funny little gags wich are worth watching for

reply

i love the part when hes in the bar, and hes like "give me the strongest uv got, then the waitor pulls out that buff dude. that was so funny. also when he said something about siamese twins and he says "...walking hand in hand in hand in hand" that was so funny

reply

I love when after Frank decides to order a Black Russian, the waiter looks at the camera and shakes his head.

reply

When him and Prisalla are making love on a spoof from GHOST

"I'm gonna make you an offer you can't refuse"
-The Godfather

reply

I think the part with the malfunctioning wheelchair was hilarious!

I also thought the best jokes were:
-The failed mission at the dock ("I love it!")
-When the fake Meinheimer drove the wheelchair off the stage when he was knocked out

-Nordberg is stuck under Hector's van, then Frank's car, then a bus to Detroit
-Frank controls the tank (Hey, that rhymes!!!)
-Nordberg slams to the wall after trying to swing into action (the "thud" sound after he slides to the ground is just plain funny)

reply

One of my favorites was when they were on the dock and Frank is putting on diving pants and they fly off and you see like six pairs float.

"It always comes down to just two choices. Get busy living or get busy dying.:

No one mentioned the scene when Mahneimer is reading those boring statistics and the entire audience is asleep - some of them in very strange positions..
Some guy had his foot on top of another's head, and then there was this guy whose torso was bent like a scorpion.. ROFLMAO..

reply

definatly the end credits

funny as hell!!!!!!

Wrong Naked Gun. That's the first one.

Um, NO it isnt.

Frank: Whats he doing down at the red light district?
Ed: Sex Frank
Frank: Uhh no not right now, we got work to do

Frank admitting that the last two drug dealers he killed he accidently backed over with the car

Frank using the hook gun to break into the warehouse and the hook grabs a dog collar dragging the dog on the roof

Frank: I've been swimming in raw sewage, I love it. Then when one of the henchmen frisk Frank, he says 'I love it'

reply

what about the pier scenes when frank falls through the ceiling, then pats himself a little and is completely clean. Or when his boss starts menacing tha bad guy and the bad guy beats him up

but the best of all is that with nordburg and frank at the rooftop, nordburg starts adding equipment to a pistol and ends up with a tank (wearing a helmet!!).

reply

Frank admitting that the last two drug dealers he killed he accidently backed over with the car, that scene is in the 3rd film in the trilogy i have. it must've been moved or something

reply

i'm watching it right now for the first time so there maybe another one coming that may be funnier, but that whole casablanca parody was hilarious
