One of the worst movies I've ever seen

This is one of the worst movies I've ever seen, and that's saying something! I tried to stick it out to the end, I really did, but I just couldn't take it any more. I finally turned it off near what I assume was the end, but then again I thought the movie should have ended much before I turned it off. Maybe that was the humor Brooks was going for in this film, that people are stupid enough to watch it through to the end, I don't know. He almost got me with it, I am the kind of person who will sit through mind-numbing media trying to find the pearl of excellence that others claim in them. This is one of the few films I gave up on. There is no pearl in this one. Watch "The Producers" instead.

you are not able to understand this gem.

It's got everything a movie needs to be bad but despite everything, I like it. And I'm not a big Mel Brooks fan either. I liked everyone in the movie.

Life Stinks and the actors in this were great. If you don't care for this movie then you must be a boring person.

So Mel Brooks decides to take on a serious issue in more serious terms than usual, and you react with a First World whine. If you ignore homelessness, it goes away...

I would say people have a right to voice their oppinion and even if millinnial retards don't like it, older generations weren't *beep* by political correctness and other *beep* therefore we don't think it's illegal to voice a negative oppinion.

The movie is dreadful. Spaceballs was probably the last good thing Mel Brooks made and that one already was a far cry from his classics like Young Frankenstein or The Producers. Life Stinks hasn't even a funny scene. The first 20 minutes are boring. The plot is extremely cliche. The old "Somebody has to survive as a homeless person" mixed with Scrooge. It doesn't even work as a more serious thing because there's nothing dramatic about it. The homeless are all way too clean, way too happy and seem to enjoy their miserable existence which is bull *beep*
I guess one has to seriously loser his standards to the absolute lowest of low to get some kind of enjoyment out of this trainwreck - or has to be a milliennial who simply loves everything, calles everything underrated and disallows other people his oppinions.

seems all picks for mel brooks least favorite movies are the later ones he made, many are mentioning people he's worked with on earlier films, that's what i felt this movie needed, more of mel brooks usual cast of comedians. his last two movies "robin hood" and "dracula" had been airing, so i thought i'd check out this third movie he made in the 1990's which i recall liking when i saw it years ago, but i must have mostly liked the setting and the story, this movie lacks jokes, i'm not sure its intended to be a comedy, it also looks quite cheap like a tv-episode or something, and i guess its the mel brooks movie that gets the least recognition, kind of strange how it stands out really, none of the trademark silly jokes, so i suppose this is my least favorite mel brooks movie and would really prefer his later "robin hood" (1993) and "dracula" (1995). too bad he stopped making movies and went into musicals and broadway instead. another thing that makes this movie stand apart from his others is that it hasn't been released with the usual trademark translated title that most mel brooks movies get in some countries... spring time for... right? perhaps its a mistake to expect a comedy, people seem fond of the message it brings instead, funny how the dvd i got of this doesn't even build it up.
