I love how at the start of a decade it is really still the old decade hanging on for a little while longer!

That's usually how it goes. When House of the Devil came out, people complained that it didn't look like it really took place in the 80s. Well, it was the early 80s.

yes, they even visit a classic 80s pizza parlor and there is a classic 80s song from the Fixx on the soundtrack
