You should read the book, I heard it is just as good as the movie. This is Julia's best.
shareTo be honest, I cannot watch or read another Nicholas Sparks after this movie... It makes Sparks look like and idiot! How can you compete with this masterpiece?!?!?! I just don't understand why this movie didn't win every Oscar applicable!!!!!! I also don't see why this movie didn't make it's way to the top of Julia Roberts film list! It makes her acting in Erin Brockovich look like a joke...I basically had to hunt this movie down to watch it. It's not even on Itunes!!! It is without a doubt, my favorite movie... ever. And that says a whole lot right there.

I am happy that you enjoyed it . . I still love this movie . . Years later and it just NEVER gets old . . I need to watch it again soon . . .
You obviously have good taste... Tell me, how do you make those smiley faces?

I put it in my signature . . dont remember how I did it but . . . You can copy and paste it Just remove the space before the brackets here . . . and that should do it ----> [love1 ] [wave ] [kiss ]
I used to watch this movie a lot at the time of release but back then it was kind of coloured by all the criticism it got, comparing to Julia's other roles, or box office etc. Now I can just enjoy it for what it is and I actually enjoyed it more now because over time it doesn't have that baggage anymore. I always liked the way it was shot, the locations, and it does sensitively handle Victor's illness and being in love with someone who is ill.
Like the scene in the hospital, when Hilary is there for the first time, looking at Victor, the other patients, the children...
I thought so
