Is the papaya thing true during the making of Double Impact?

Internet rumor going on since yesterday that Van Damme threw a papaya at the director during filming of the movie because the film people were trying to change the movie by having Dolph Lundren as a twin brother etc

It makes sense, and it would explain why Shelley Michelle was no longer going to play the love interest. She trained with Dolph, so perhaps Van Damme tested her loyalty.

Coincidentally, Dolph was in a 1991 film (Cover-Up) whose French title is Double Impact.
