KISS song at the end

I took the time one night to create the best sounding version of "God Gave Rock 'n Roll To You" mixed with the Steve Vai solo. This version of the song is not available on any CD anywhere so I created one for the world to enjoy.

I'd appreciate some feedback, let me know if it sounds good enough.

......of course what no one has mentioned is that this track was originally English as recorded by Argent, merely covered (albeit brilliantly) by KISS

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

I love it! Excellent work, it really is very high quality. I've been wanting this for years! Thank you so much, random internet stranger, you just made my day awesome. The best part was finding that a 2.5-year-old charter.net link still works. ;-)

Very cool! I just put it on my ipod. Thanks!

Most excellent!!! Thanks!

I still don't know why they didn't put this version of the song on the soundtrack instead of the original track like they did. Not that the rest of the songs on it weren't worth it but I bought it for this song specifically; imagine my disappointment. :( So, thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this version a reality.

On a side note....3 years later and it's still available for download!

Dude you made my day!
Did you take the solo from the film or did you play it yourself?

"Sir, let those laugh that win."- Barry Lyndon

The solo was actually recorded by Steve Vai. I got an mp3 of his recording and mixed it with the KISS track. Also, thanks to everyone and their comments...glad I could share this with the world!

reply

Excellent work, dude! The mix is seamless.
