Favorite Villain - Darkwing Duck (1991) Discussion

Negaduck FTW. I'm not gonna lie, I had a crush on him when I was 5... which must've been an early warning sign because when I was a teenager I dated a lot of psychos ;)

Megavolt comes second, because I just LOVE how he's written. I don't know who came up with his lines but I always get a good laugh when he's in an episode.

I also like the Fearsome Five dynamic. Seeing Megavolt, Liquidator, Bushroot, and Quackerjack act like best friends while Negs barely tolerates them is always funny.

Negaduck... because he was Disney's first psycho... ;)
although he puzzles me... they never got to explain thoroughly just what he was... gah! I need the fourth season!!!!!
it was amusing to see Negs and "Dipwing dork" interact...lol!
somewhat second is Bushroot, even though he's not really a villain, just misunderstood!

Mine, too! Negaduck was Disney's Number 1 sadistic, murderous, vicious, brutal, and evil villain ever! He's loaded with countless deadly weapons ever imagined!

Megavolt is my favorite.
But any way Seraphimon
I wanted a Liquidator toy too so I formed my own out of blue Playdo!
And I never got around to it but I had gotten too Darkwing’s and I was going to get model paint and make my own NegaDuck.

Number 1: Negaduck all the way. He was the only villain that never seemed to have any "goofy moments" - he was just evil through and through. Fave quote: (after telling Darkwing to jump off a cliff) "And to think - all this time, all I had to do was ask."

Number 2: Megavolt. Not as mean as Negaduck, but entertainingly insane. "I love the smell of voltage in the evening!"

Number 3: Quackerjack. When I was a kid, he always made me laugh. My favorite scene of his when I was a kid - where he convinces Darkwing he has a bomb inside a rubber chicken, leading to the "Rubber Chicken crisis" at the bank. Still cracks me up today.

Liquidator comes in at #1 followed by Quakerjack at #2, Megavolt at #3, Negaduck at #4. I absolutely love Bushroot, as well, but he's barely a villain. Twin Beaks is such a great episode.
OT but I wish the DVD's would've put the episodes in production order which would have made much more sense. The way they have it they do the Justice Ducks episode before half the characters have been introduced in their own episodes.

Megavolt would probably have to be my favorite villain, though Quackerjack is a close second. They're both hilarious! (Plus, Megsy's confusion and Quacky's childishness make them both so cute at times.)

Of course, Bushroot is adorable...it's really hard to choose sometimes.

All of them are great, but I absolutely loved Taurus Bulba from the pilot episodes. We are also introduced to Launchpad and Gossalyn in these episodes too. Tim Curry was fantastic as Taurus Bulba.

Negaduck all the way. You'd never thought to see a psychotic villain on Disney but the writers made sure Disney wasn't innocent when they created Negaduck. And Disney's not known for having villains carrying weapons like chainsaws but they sure changed they mind!!!

god, I actually loved most villains in this show. The Liquidator, Quarterjack, Taurus Bulba, ...

One of my favorites was this walrus guy, Spironni or something alike? I know I'm probably the only one who liked that villain (I probably just like him because I was already obsessed with films when I was a kid and his plots always have something to do with films).

Quackerjack was always my favorite.

They did a great QJ story in the Darkwing Duck comic Annual. It was actually pretty dark.

Negaduck and the episodes with him are pretty good- but I have to say I wouldn't have minded to see more episodes with Liquidator solo.
