I enjoy this movie, should I give sequels a watch?

This film is a very fun movie with a big replayability.
Now, I saw that there were 3 sequels + a TV series.
Are those any good? Shall I give them a try?
Will they ruin my experience of the first film, or are they just plain simple harmless fun?

Edit:
I have, so far, watched parts 2 and 3.
I liked them both.

The only one I really didn't like was the 3rd one. First movie's a classic. Second one is more comedic, with some funny running gags about the lack of Reba and Kevin Bacon. Third one's mostly a waste of potential, but, as someone else mentioned, it does set up the television series well. The 4th one's a prequel, featuring an ancestor of Burt Gummer, who happens to be very meek and gun-shy. Funny stuff.

If they ever did a 5th one, I'd love to see Fred Ward and Kevin Bacon back in the franchise. But that's probably a pipe dream at this point.

My opinion the first one was the best the others were just really dumb.

The first sequel is very good. The second sequel is only good on a comedy level. It's a joke. It doesn't take the series seriously. I don't know about the rest.
