This film is a very fun movie with a big replayability.
Now, I saw that there were 3 sequels + a TV series.
Are those any good? Shall I give them a try?
Will they ruin my experience of the first film, or are they just plain simple harmless fun?

Yeah, the first one is awesome. The sequels did become worse and worse. I actually somewhat like the second one, just not as much as the first. The third one is not very good and the fourth one is downright terrible. I still have to see the tv show, would anyone recommend that?
See the second, for a sequel it's pretty good and has a few returning cast members and for most part very good special effects. I never cared for any of the others though.
shareYeah I agree...if you give the first one an 8/10..you will enjoy the 2nd Tremors...it isn't as good, but it will be a solid use of 90+ minutes..enjoyable for fans for sure..
The third one, however, starts to get really bad...to the point where even big fans of the original probably won't care for it.
I'd recommend seeing the first sequel though if you really like the original. Even cheesier, but still watchable, still fun..
I like the Second one, it's pretty good in my opinion, and it has more humor than the original, in my opinion. I didn't care for the Third one much, but I actually liked the 4th over the third one, maybe just because it was a western. The Third one was used to set-up the TV Show.
Even though they're not as good, 3 and 4 don't ruin the original. They're still fun movies, they just don't capture what makes the original so great. I'd say they're still better then your average SyFy movie.

I've avoided seeing the sequels for the same reason. It's harder to avoid in the Netflix age though so I might start playing one sometime.
shareDefo worth checking out. The second one has some cool fun bits in it and some wonderful Gummer-isms.
Even the third one is good for Gummer. He really is such a great character.

Tremors 2 is the equivalent of City Slickers Curly's Gold, good not great. The rest are Rocky Fives.
shareI hated the second, too much humor. I can't remember it too much but I do remember preferring the 4th film over other sequels.
Though none of them even come close to the original.
