Why did the Predator kill King Willie?
I have been a big fan of this franchise since I first saw the original and its sequel when I was a kid. I know the alien does not kill anyone who isn't armed. However, in this film the Predator attacks King Willie, but why? If I remember correctly, Willie wasn't strapped and he didn't brandish his blade until the alien revealed himself by stepping through those puddles of water. Was this a mistake by the writer, was it because the Predator was listening to their conversation and felt that Willie knew too much, or was it because IT wanted to frighten Karrigan? Also, I am considering watching AVP. Is it really as bad as everyone says it is? I already dislike the pg-13 rating so I am very skeptical, but is it worth watching once? (if not, will alcohol help me tolerate it more? seriously haha) I sincerely hope The Predator takes this franchise back to its roots.
