The husbands annoyed me.

His temper was ridiculous throughout.

let's see. A cop is hearing two stories.

One from a man talking calmly and rationally.

One from a man ranting and raving like a lunatic.

Who is he going to believe?

reply

Well, if he actually listened to what they said, it would be ridiculous for him to believe Keaton.

This happens a lot in real life.

It was a good scene and it doesn't matter about the police anyway it's a civil issue which is what the officer explains.

Even though it didn't bother me too much, this was one of the more ridiculous things about the legal aspect of this movie. That cop didn't even try to reassure or give more advice to Drake's concerns, and acted like Carter was an actual victim. This was clearly a case of "the police sides with the villain because he's a smooth talker". Same deal with the cops hauling Drake in without any questions.

I thought the black guy was way more annoying. He was rude and pretty aggressive, but for some reason he made it about racism.
