Do you think that it was justified for Barbara to shoot Cooper at the end of the movie?

Probably not but circumstance. Ben had just been shot in the head in front of her. Also, Ben died because of Cooper. So uhh. Yeah. I probably would have done the same. God damn it, Ben. Why didn't ya light that cigarette?

From the old "eye for an eye" perspective, yes. Cooper murdered Ben, therefore his life is forfeit. From a realistic perspective I would have held him at gunpoint and explained to those other guys that the zombie they just put down was originally murdered by this man. Then we could go try to find the sheriff or someone to turn him over to. Maybe that wouldn't have worked but I would have tried it.

I think it's interesting that in the original 1968 movie BEN murdered COOPER, then went into hiding only to be shot in the head in the morning. Their fates were basically swapped.
