Why kill Ben!
They should have let Ben live! And what I mean by "they" is the makers of this movie. Ben was the only character I liked in this movie.

shareI agree, he was the true hero of the film and it's too bad he didn't leave with Barbra.
shareMost movies will draw out the "is he/isn't he" tension... and then have him show up alive. Ben emerging that way was a surprise, and it was a dramatic horror moment. I thought it was well done.
shareI wanted him to live. This Barbara was much more likeable than the original. I kept hoping that he'd be clinging to life and would be able to eventually join up with Barbara. But no.
shareJust watched it for the first time. It played on the AMC channel. Anyways, how did he wind up infected? I'm kinda lost.
shareHe died from the gunshot wounds, but with his brain intact. Any person who dies with their brain undamaged will reanimate. The cause of the phenomenon is unknown.
shareI wondered how he became a zombie as well, he wasn't bit or anything. oh well, I also wish he'd lived this time around
shareBecause life isn't always fair. I wanted Ben to survive too but alas.
