The outlet reports that the woman filed a police report one day after the alleged incident occurred last week, claiming the “Home Alone” actor, 44, punched her in the face, put his hand over her mouth and tried to strangle her after a feud broke out.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that cops were called to a Hyatt hotel near downtown Oklahoma City after the alleged domestic dispute, adding that the couple went their separate ways for the night once things calmed down.
A redacted police report obtained by Page Six confirms an incident such as this took place on Dec. 9, and a spokesperson for the Oklahoma City Police Department told us hat no charges have been filed. However, due to privacy, the involved parties are not revealed in the aforementioned report.
A rep for Ratray did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment, but told TMZ that although “nothing physical happened,” an argument broke out that led to the two breaking up that night.
Ratray rose to fame in the early ’90s as a child actor in the first two “Home Alone” films. He memorably played Buzz McCallister, the bully big brother of Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin).
In a recent interview with People, Ratray — who reprised his role as Buzz this year in Disney+’s “Home Sweet Home Alone” film — revealed that a “Home Alone” reunion with the original cast was in the works.
“They have been planning a reunion online and I just recently, as in a couple of days ago, got on their messenger chat thread, and I have been trying to keep up with Jed Cohen and Diana [Rein] and Terrie [Snell] and Angela Goethals and Hillary Wolf,” he said.
“The family is moving on their own accord to get together,” he added. “So who knows what’s going to happen in the future?”
No word yet on whether Ratray’s alleged mishap will derail these plans.
