Kevin's Life After Home Alone 1 & 2

This was more of a thought exercise than anything else. After seeing his prowess at making traps and outwitting burglars, it made me realize he was ideal for this job:

Army Corps of Engineers

He has the creativity and ingenuity, (as well as the fighting spirit) that's required for such a job. Sad part is, judging by his age in 1990, he would have been 18 in 2000, and probably would have had to go to Iraq in his early 20s to help out in the war going on there. On the flip-side, he would have been free of his family and not looked back even once after leaving home. He might have also been good for DARPA, since inventing gadgets for combat seems to be his forte.

He could have also grown up to just become an inventor in general and married a feisty girl who helped him out :) They could also laugh over what he said as a child about "living alone," hehe.

Interesting post, but regarding the bit about being free of his family, remember that at the end of the first film he had learned the value of family and that making his family disappear wasn't all it was cracked up to be.

For that reason, I would think that Kevin would thenceforth always stay close to his family, if not necessarily in proximity then at least in spirit.
