What “controversial and offensive plot points”?

Channing Tatum says he wants to remake Ghost and change the “controversial and offensive plot points. The hell is he talking about?

It's offensive that the lead couple was white and straight. "Ghost" with a young black lesbian woman ghost and a young white bisexual girlfriend would fit the bill now, especially on Netflix. Maybe Tatum could do the Goldberg role.

The journalist referred to ‘controversial and offensive plot points’ not Tatum. He doesn’t get a complete pass though - nobody should be talking about remaking Ghost.

Only bad films need to be remade, and even then they should probably be left well enough alone since everything modern Hollywood touches turns to shit (unless there’s a creative force who can overpower the woke studio execs like Tom Cruise, Tarantino etc)
