Why the name change?

The book was good; the only cast member I thought did justice to the book character was Kyle MacLachlan. He was a perfect "Trout." I did kind of get used to Shelley, though. She wasn't what I had in mind; but she worked out well.

My favorite Sarah Bird book is the hilarious and smart "Virgin of the Rodeo." Highly recommend it.

My sister turned me on to this movie years ago. It is a delightful and refreshing spin on romance.
Diffidently one to purchase for the family movie collection.
