- David Morse drives erratically after seeing police cars, gets stuck, dumps a body right next to the car, runs away, and approaches women while covered in blood. Seconds later the FBI and snipers have him surrounded back by his car.
- Mickey Rourke and the gang allow the family to walk around, talk, fight, make plans in another room, sleep in separate rooms, jump out windows, and pick up weapons. They never think to tie up the family and keep them in sight.
- Anthony Hopkins easily throws Mickey Rourke outside and leaves him for the police. Hopkins returns to the house and closes the door with Rourke's brother still inside.
