Question about Roy Biggins

One of my favorite shows. So funny. But yesterday when I watched an episode, I had a question about Roy and his airline.

The airport was fogged in so they were playing games to pass the time. They couldn’t leave in case the fog lifted and the airport opened.

But where was Roy’s staff? He had six planes. Surely he would want his pilots to stick around too!

I know it is just a show and only the main characters have speaking parts. Roy liked the folks at Sandpiper, but he seemed to never speak to his OWN employees! He even did his own boarding announcements. You would think he’d have a ground agent like Fay who sold tickets and did announcements.

I still love this show, but with repeated viewings it just seems odd that Roy is never seen speaking to his own employees,
