The Airport-funny but with a few errors
The Airport is very funny with Kramer and George racing back and forth between JFK and La Guardia, George only willing to do an airport run so he wouldn't have to pay off a bet he made with Jerry, etc.
But there's a bit of an error with Elaine and Jerry's side of the episode. Since their flight was cancelled the ticket agent offers them two seats on a different flight. But one is in Coach and one is in First Class. Elaine is cramped and miserable in her coach seat so she sneaks into first class to take a nap.
A flight attendant taps her on the shoulder and sends her back to coach. Well obviously there were at least TWO seats in First Class. Why didn't the ticket agent offer them both to Jerry and Elaine?
I used to be a flight attendant and I enjoy seeing how TV writers portray us. The surly attendant in coach would have gotten some nasty feedback in the form of letters to his airline.
I worked for several charter airlines, so we didn't have First Class. But my cousin works for a major carrier. In the Seinfeld episode the attendant says to Elaine, "These seats are very expensive."
My cousin told me that in no way are they allowed to refer to how "expensive" seats are. Also if passengers are bumped from one flight, they are often offered an upgrade to First Class if there are available seats after everyone else has boarded.
