I tried to watch it several times, and my reaction was "Meh". It's about four shallow, self-centered, neurotic, irritating people, and it's not funny imho. BTW, the first time Kramer came bursting through the door gyrating wildly, it was funny. The next 500 times, not so much.
Of course I know I'm in the minority here.

I think it's funny because it makes me laugh. But I don't think there's anything quite as subjective as humor and what works for one may not work for another (abstract art maybe, but humor is up there). I was in college when a good chunk of Seinfeld aired and so many of us watched and talked about this show to the point where it was as if we were speaking our own language. I remember one Friday morning walking to class and hearing someone yell out "Is anyone here a marine biologist?", a reference to the previous night's episode and a bunch of us in the area laughed.
I've never found Woody Allen movies funny but some people would swear by them. There's just no "one size fits all" when it comes to humor.
That's why they make chocolate and vanilla (and sometimes strawberry).

Let me clarify. I never watched it on a regular basis. I would watch it for a few minutes while channel surfing. I would wait for it to get funny. It never did, so I would surf on. I also watched the 90 minute "End of Series Special". That was good for two or three chuckles.
BTW, Italy is a beautiful country imho. I toured it in 2010. What part of Italy do you live in?

Well thats the problem is you have a short attention span and want immediate satisfaction in humor without thinking or following a story perhaps you should watch Happy Madison films and let the adults have our shows
