She was only 37 in season 3, she did look older though, I guess it was the way they dressed her. In the first season, you could tell she wasn´t that old.
shareI was going to post exactly this sentiment. Jane'ts pregnancy reportedly caused a lot of problems and was one factor that led to her leaving the show. They could have just hidden her pregnancy and it would've been a non-issue, and the unnecessary character of Nicky wouldn't exist.
