Why did they leave?
Why did Andrea, Jesse, Mr & Mrs Walsh leave the show? Did the actors want to leave or was it decided not to have them in the show anymore?

shareNo reason to keep the Walshes as the show went into season 5/6 as pretty much melrose Place 2.0
and Jesse/Andrea were too boring to keep on. The show was pretty much sexy young people banging and they were a boring married couple (at age 20 who behaved as if they were 35) so they got the Axe. I can't imagine many people crying about their departure.
Once again, Gabrielle was not fired. She chose to leave. According to behind the scenes staff she was actually quite beloved. She left on her own accord to branch out to other tv projects and her own talk show.
There were actually plans to bring her back in season 9. That's why they brought her back in season 8 and told us she was divorcing Jesse and dropped out of med school. But it fell through since GC got pregnant with her second child shortly after her guest appearance.
Not exactly saying they they fired her but not like they made a mad dash to beg her to stay. I'm sure her desire to host a show was probably just "saving her name" like many actors when they are let go from a show for whatever reason.
shareBut she wasn't let go.
That's a fact. Odd that you're continuing to state otherwise. None of the original 90210 "kids" were fired. Not even Shannen. Aaron loved the original gang and optimally wanted to keep everyone together. He even wanted to do an 11th season and see if he could get everyone back before Fox decided not to renew.
I never said she was fired. I merely said they didn't renew her contract. There's a difference. If Gaby honestly left of her own accord to do some talk show, then clearly her agent should have been fired.
No need to get so personal with it. Makes no difference to me
I'm pretty sure Shannen was fired from 90210 and then Charmed. But of course others say different. I guess it all depends who you ask, those who did the firing and those who were fired.
I didn't realize trying to correct a misconception meant I was getting "personal".
I'll withdraw.
