I know a lot of ya'll didn't like the movie, but I love it! I only got 3 hours of sleep b4 school so I could watch it! He just has this cuteness that I like! And I love when he is watching Ann when she is taking his hand and putting it on her face. Gosh he is sexy!

Sex, Lies and Videotape is one my favourite film ever. I've rated it 10: perfect plot, marvellous acting.
He is superbly adept at playing a**holes really, really well, but I fell in love with how sexy James Spader can be as a sensitive type after watching the movie Jack's Back. I didn't see anybody comment on how hot he was in that film? Oh, just yummmmmy. Then I saw White Palace later on, which is a sexy film all around. Just got around after all these years to watching Sex, Lies & Videotape and I'm blown away again by how smokin' sexy Spader was in this as vulnerable and gorgeous Graham. Yowsa. Wish I could watch this ten more times in a row right NOW. WILL be buying THIS dvd...
P.S. Loved his funny turn on Seinfeld, and I'll be watching Secretary due to the recommendations here.

James Spader has absolutely gorgeous hair, but especially back then, in Jack's Back and SL&V. After just seeing SL&V, I have to agree he was at the height of sexiness there.
I didn't realize Jack's Back wasn't available on dvd in the U.S.A. so whenever it's broadcast on t.v. again, I will have to burn a copy to dvd. I will always love that movie, too.

I love his character in this film, and the transformation of him. What woman wouldn't want to reach out to him, to try to "help" him? His damage/hurt makes him very appealing. And sure, great hair.
shareWell put normalou! I've been wanting to "help" him ever since I saw that movie. I also thought Laura San Giacomo was adorable in her big glasses and I really thought we'd be seeing her more often after this movie. This movie will always remain on my favorites list. It was also filmed near where I grew up so that was kind of fascinating.

I always get kind of a creepy vibe from him.. Maybe its because of the roles he plays( sex lies and videotape, crash, secretary, wolf) but he just seems ishy to me...

shareI absolutely adore James Spader, and I love his Graham. I like how delightfully odd he was, but also how vulnerable and gentle. It is such a quietly commanding performance, he really draws you in.
He was also incredible looking in his youth (still attractive now in his own way). In particular, his hair was fascinating and his eyes are very soulful.

The first time I saw James Spader was in 1981 in the movie, "Endless Love" with Brooke Shields. He played her older brother and I thought he was SO gorgeous and he just oozed sexiness. I've been mad crushing on him ever since. I love his eyes, his hair, his voice, and his body was very hot back in the day!
My favorite James Spader movie of all time is "White Palace" with Susan Sarandon. I just adored him in that movie. I loved how he loved her even though she was way older than him and not in his social circle. He was just SO hot!
Believe it or not, tonight was the first time I've ever seen "Sex, Lies & Videotape" and I loved him in this movie, too. He has a gentleness about him and a boyish sex appeal that makes you love him. He's a great actor and I've seen lots of his movies, but I still need to see more of them. He's one of my favorite actors of all time.
