Would you say the family in this movie is evil or just incredibly flawed and wrong?

SPOILERS ALERT -

I mean, they wrecked their flat, killed fish, flushed money down the toilet, disconnected forcefully their phone, broke the music records, killed themselves AND took their daughter with them, with the young girl actually looking horrified and uncomfortable against her will, basically committed a murder suicide ritual.

Would you say it classifies the parents at least as evil or just wrong and flawed, should they have done what they did let alone took the kid along?

In my opinion, well maybe "evil" is too strong a word but yes they were definitely in the wrong, how about you?

I would not argue against calling them evil. My empathy went out of the window when they involved their daughter.

Pretty disturbing if you think about it. Its like - its not just, like in his two later Funny Games movies, the 1997 Austrian and the 2007 Hollywood remake, outside "villains" coming into the family to torture and possibly kill them like that.
