What is that sound Clark makes when fighting the Christmas lights?

For 20 years, my friend and I have tried to make out what sound Clark makes with the lights. The family is watching him break down and Clark says, “What is wrong with this!” and then you hear this strange sound effect, which sounds like “goit”. Not sure if it’s just an added effect in post or he made some weird noise with his mouth, but it’s always funny to hear it.

I would call it angry grunting and half-sentences of a guy who's just on the brink of completely and totally losing his sanity. (He lost it completely on Christmas Eve). Sometimes I wonder just how mentally stable Clark actually was, but then again, he was trying really hard to have the Christmas he always wanted, and things kept screwing up.
