I know that this movie has it's flaws, but it's a guilty pleasure of mine.
However, these two lines I cringe at -
"What are we going to do if we run out of airplanes, grow a whole bunch of bird people?"
"It absorbs the intelligence of their victims"
I hate the way that Peter Weller delivered these lines. They are laughable.
I think Ernie Hudson was pretty funny in this movie. Even if it wasn't intentional LOL.
Paid a lot of attention in English class, didn't we?
shareI thought the whole underplayed reaction to seeing two apparent corpses merging and seemingly alive again on the sickbay bed was laughable. I think the lines were gently spoken, "What the hell? What's going on here, Doc?" and then the scene ends. Though I love Peter Weller, I think they should have had someone with more reactive capability (probably not a real term).
