not bit Wayne's sock, thus startling Wayne for him
to look down at his spoon and spot Nick!!!
Wayne would have continued to put the spoon in his
mouth to swallow the cheerios along with Nick!!!

shareI use to wonder that when I was little and saw the trailer. That part was kind of like a cliff hanger. The posssibility that he could have eaten Nicky just blew my mind.
Don't forget the chewing would've killed him before anything else.
When I saw this when I was little I was on the edge of my seat because I didn't know how they were going to save nick when that part came up. I covered my eyes and exhaled hard when quork bit Wayne and then I felt so relieved.
Gave it more thought, and thought if, Wayne had swallowed Nick--
Nick would have been dead, and he would not appear in any of the sequals!!
Of course, the actor playing Nick would be around, but his character
Nick would not be in any of the sequals if he got swalowed!!!
Unless if by chance, Wayne vomits up his cheerios
along with Nick!!

The kids would have been screwed. Nick was the only one who knew that the baseball was what made the machine work, so without him Wayne wouldn't have thought to block the laser.

If Wayne ate Nick, Nick would have been killed and digested in NO TIME!!! HE WAS FREAKIN NOT EVEN AS HALF AS BIG AS THE SIZE OF THE CHEERIOS!!! Ugh just thinking about what could have happen to poor Nick during that scene freaks me out. That would of been a horrible death for Nick. It is like being born and then unborn. Nick's body would be totally gone! Nothing about Nick would ever exist again. THANK GOD QORK SAVED THE DAY!! If something like that happen to me and I was saved I would still be haunted for life.

Wayne might have been able to notice something squiggling around on his tongue, and carefully removed it. Hopefully this would happen before Wayne crunched the Cheerios in his teeth, along with Nick. So Nick would need to employ a method of staying on Wayne's tongue; I think he could grip the tongue's "papillae" as they're called, the little thingies that make the tongue's surface raspy. Then Nick just keeps kicking and squirming until he's detected.
