Worst friday in my opinion

Anyone else agree? And btw, I haven't seen the remake, so idk if that would be worse than this one.

I still don't get how anyone could think this movie sucked .
Of course, imo, all of the first 10 are pretty damn awesome.

I didn't even like the concept. A vs film works okay enough in a creature film like Alien Vs Predator, but in a slasher film? It's too much imo.

And I liked the Manhattan cast , but the worse ones made it to Manhattan. The ones on the boat were fun though (Tamara, Eva, Miles, JJ).
I thought the pacing was fine, and the MPAA's to blame for some of the gore. And it never felt like a comedy to me :/. It's just a hair cheesy.
Oh and it has an AMAZING poster.

Miles was like the Eva to Sean's Tamara <3.
He spoke a couple times, and his name was in the opening credits, around where Kelly Hu's name was I believe :)

The Manhattan scenes had a bit too many alley scenes, but scenes like the one in the subway were really good.

This had one of the best directors of photography of the entire series in Bryan England. It's a great-looking motion picture thanks to him. Particularly coming on the heels of 4, which had a talentless DP, and 6 and 7 which had mediocre ones and look cheap. And it has the best main titles of the entire series, and I don't think that's up for debate. How couldn't it be when the first 7 pictures have main title designs they got from the dollar store?

And I actually quite like the first half hour. But it gets worse and worse as it goes along, and the entire section in Manhattan is just awful. (Apparently, I'm the one fan who wishes none of it took place in NY.) And the finale is abysmal. Hedden isn't a bad director but he is a bad writer and the script would have benefited from doctoring. Also, Jensen Daggett, while very pretty, cannot act. I don't know what casting couch they pulled her off of but they should have sent her back to it at the same they did Lee Coleman. Of course it has no suspense or scares to speak of, but then none of them did after the first three.

It really does look great.

I didn't think it was too much at all, the crossover had been planned for some time, so I was glad it finally got to happen, i'll admit it could've better though.

I agree 100 percent. The new one was great if u haven't seen it by the way. IMO

I disagree. The worst to me is Jason goes to Hell. To me the only good part of Jason Goes to Hell was the part at the end where Freddy grabs Jason's mask and pulls it underground. The rest of it is bad. Jason's spirit possessing people is dumb. That's not how you do a Friday the 13th movie.

^What? JGTH had some of the most awesome kills!!!

Jason X and Jasons Magical Voyage To Canada are by far the worst of the series.

Jason X is mind-numbingly awful looking with it being shot in the early 2000's when digital effects and film barely jelled unless it was a big tentpole movie. The overuse of "callbacks" and homages to past events is grating, plus don't get me started on the the clothes/acting/cyborgs.

Magical Voyage is just flat out bizarre and woefully uneven. Jason somehow acquires new clothes and equipment when chained underwater, along with a purple hue. He also gains teleportation or has a very effective stealth mode. Now onto the plot, what plot? Old weirdo mentally abusing a young girl which totally not from the previous film? The main girl can also see Jasons true form as a non-deformed child which is dumb.
When the cast finally reaches "New York"...cough...mostly Canada, the most obvious in-joke appears. Then the cliches, oh god the cliches...NY has toxic waste out in the open, people won't give a *beep* if you're mugged, crazy punk gangs, and all that *beep* Plus the ending is so weak and rushed.

^I disagree. This one is much better than JGTH. Jason X is a bad movie, but extremely entertaining, I also find it better than JGTH. Other than the tent kill, and head crushing of the waitress, most of JGTH's deaths were goofy, like people being shoved to death, and slammed into walls, it just seemed kind of lazy to me.

I do agree that JTM should have had more happen in Manhattan though. I still like it though.

I completely agree. I enjoyed it more than The New Blood and Jason Takes Manhattan combined.

V, Jason Goes To Hell, Jason X and especially the remake are worse.

I liked V, even though I know it's really bad. I liked how it was different from the other 4 before it. And I agree on the other 2. They both were terrible.

This is not worse than Jason Goes To Hell.

I just watched 9 again and, once you have adjusted for the movie being outside of all the others, it doesn't seem to be as bad as 8. I think I agree that 8 is the worst (although I am about to soon watch Freddy vs Jason and Jason X again, so I might still give them the award).
